dLes or sight controL Knobs. Pass your
M240 into the turret barrel ±irst, so you
won't have to maneuver it as much to
moUnt it. TaKe it out o± the turret re³
ceiver ±irst. During transport, lay it
down with the charger cable o´ the
±Loor.
Be±Ore you Go to the ±ieLd, eyeball
the charger cabLe ±Or ²aying. Check
the sprinG, too, µr signs o± stretching
or breakinG. Your Armorer can replace
both.

up. Push the bArrel reLease to the rigHt

out.

bly nuts be±Ore and a±ter ±Ãring. Äse
the adjustable wrench that's part o±
your MÅ, M60 or BradÆey's BÇÇÈ Éiring
vibration Loosens the nuts and wears
oUt their washers.
I± the nuts work
loose, the trigger and ²ame assembly
can come apart during fÊrinG. I± a nut
won't stay tight, have your armorer
re¹LaËe it with the new bolt,

reLease ¹ins are FuLLy inseRted in the
moUnt holes beµre moving the can³
non. ¾ Loose ¹in can snag on the gun-
ner's auxÃÕÃary sÃght Önd breaÔ the sight
or the ×in.
