DeAr WindY,
When crew seAt pAnels are
removed from the O´µ58 for
cabin maintenance, mechAnics
step on the seat frames And
damage themÂ
But we stopped the damage by
making a brace to Ãt over the
frames to protect them from
heAvĵfooted mechanics inside
the cabin.
Use 2 plies of ŵin thick
phenolÆc sheet, NSN 9330µ00Ç
880ÈÉ870, cut to the sAme length
as the seat frAme and approxiÊ
mately 2Ë inches wide. Drill
holes in the phenolic to match the
holes in the seat frAme. ÀttAch the
phenolic with the harÌware used
to mount the seat panels.
Íou can install the braces in
minutes and save Uncle big
bucKs in suppoÎ replacement
costs.
