Loosen tent lines when it rains.
WateR puts additional weight on the
tent. Tight, stRained lines tear canvas.
If youR tent ±eaks and theRe are no
ho±es, treat it with a 50/50 mix of can-
vas coating pReseRvative, NSN 8030²
³0²281´2346, and dRy c±eaning so±µ
vent, NSN 6850²00²264²9038.
A gallon of this pReservative wil±
cover about 90 squaRe Fet of canvas.
You can spRay, b¶ush oR Ro±l it on.
·o±±ow the wa¸ing in Para 4¹29c in

contains zinc, which wil± iRRitate youR
skin and eyes.
Take caRe of the lines, too. They
wear with use and Rot ¼om weatheR.
Wash them in c±ean water and hang
½hem up to dry.
Check the seam and gRommet areas
