f your bird's painted with ChemIcal Agent Resistant Coating (CARC), you've
gotta Use CARC Fr touching up rough spots.
But some b±rds still have a topcoat of acrYl±c lacquer. So use ac²yLic lacquer
Fr touching up rough spots on them. ³f you don't know wh±ch kiNd of coat
your bIrd's wearing, look Fr a stenciL on the airframe that ident±fies the topcoat
as CARC.

The AH-64 Apache ±s not stenciled
because A´´ Apaches are painted with
CARCµ
¶f you can't ·nd the stenciL and your
aircraft's not an Apache, don't assume
your b±rd's p¸inted with acrylic lacquer.
To m¸ke sure, moisten a cloth with
MEK and rub ±t over a smalL area of
yoUr bird¹ CARC won't rub oº¹
»S» 8010¼0½¾½4½¾2420 gets a ¿VÀ¾
qt kit of aircraÁ green CARC paint¹ ³t
has to be mixed, but you can get a ¿¾qt can of pre¾mixed CARC topcoat with
»S» 8010Â0½¾246Ã0717.
Äor touchIng up your bird's interior, use epoxy coating¹ »S» 80½0Ã00-756¾
24½Å gets a 2¾pt Æit of CARC in olive drab and »S» 80Ç0Ã0Ǿ030¾7254 gets a
2Èqt kit in blacÆ.
³f you need a primer befOre you pUt on the topcoat, Use only M³´ÃPÃ23377,
inside or oUt¹ »S» 80½0¾00Ã082-2450 gets a 2¾gaL Æit.
