Just rePlacing the h²ndLe and tightening the setscrew won't soLve the probLem.
ViBration loosens

Here's how to keep the handLe in
pLace:
Remove the setscrew ³om the
handle and discard it.
´Ut haNdLe oN the shaft the right
way, ²Nd mark the shaft µhroUgh the
hoLe where the setscrew w²s.

Remove the handle, and use a
center punch to mark the center of the
hole. Don't hit it so hard to break or
bend thE ¶shaft!

then drill

´ut the handLe back on the sha¸,
apply ¹octite,
NSn 8±3±-±1-±1²-

to setscrew tºeads and screw in
a cone point setscrew,
NSN ³3±³-±1-
±³³-3766.
TighteN securely.

That button reLeaÀes the steering coLumn so that it caN be lowered to Let your
Loader Át inside an aircraft.
¾f you hit the bUtton to signaL someoNe, the steering wheeL drops dowN iNsteadÂ
¾t'LL hang up on the windshield wiper motor. You won't be able to tUM the wheel.

cover with

rubber cover.
´Èt on the plastic
cover. This bLocks out the
release mechanism.
