Remove B-pillar armor as follows (see figure 2-9).
a.
Remove nine capscrews (6), washers (5), and B-pillar cover strip (4).
b.
Remove door and hinge assembly (3), B-pillar armor (2), and B-pillar nut plate (1).
c.
Repeat steps a. and b. for opposite side of vehicle.
