TRAVEL LOCK MUST BE FULLY ENGAGED to prevent gooseneck and
semitrailer from disconnecting. Failure to comply may result in death or injury to

The air brake system is operated with less than 100 psi (690 kPa). Personnel must
take precautions to maintain adequate air pressure so brakes will function
properly. Failure to comply may result in death or injury to personnel. Seek medical

To avoid damage to equipment, make sure brakes are caged prior to performing
maintenance on slack adjusters. Failure to comply may result in death or injury to
personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.

Ensure brake drum moves freely after adjustment. Failure to comply may result in
death or injury to personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.

Visibility from towing vehicle is significantly reduced when backing, whether the
semitrailer is loaded or not. When backing, use the assistant operator as ground
guide. Operator must know where ground guide is at all times. Proper procedures
must be followed and extreme caution used when backing to prevent damage to
equipment. Failure to comply may result in death or injury to personnel. Seek
medical attention in the event of an injury.

The tool box lid is secured by two pneumatic openers. Caution should be used
