INSTALLATION OF ADJUSTABLE FITTINGS
1.
Apply light weight oil (OE/HDO--10) to O--ring (preformed packing).
CAUTION
Packing must be positioned fully into groove and not on threads. Failure to comply
may result in damage to equipment.
2.
Gently push backup washer and O--ring all the way into groove.
3.
Turn locknut down until locknut contacts backup washer.
4.
Install fitting on boss until backup washer contacts face of boss.
5.
Position fitting to desired position by backing out fitting up to one full turn. Hold fitting in desired position, and
tighten locknut.
6.
Connect tube to fitting after fitting is properly positioned and tightened.
