Steps given are typical for all three cam follower housings.
Position gasket with sealing material side away from cylinder block.
1.
Cylinder block (1)
New gasket (2) and
cam follower
housing (3)
Aline with dowel pins and put on.
2.
Six screws (4) and
six new lock-
washers (5)
a. Screw in until snug.
b.
Using 1/2-inch drive 9/16-inch socket
and 0 to 250 ft lb (0 to 350 N
o
m) torque
wrench, tighten to 30 to 35 ft lb (42 to 49
N
o
m) as shown in Cam Follower Housing
