Using crankshaft barring tool, rotate
crankshaft back and forth to make sure
piston is precisely at TDC (top dead center)
on compression stroke.
TDC is Indicated by maximum clock-
wise position of dial indicator pointer.

Set dial face to aline zero with dial
indicator pointer.

Turn thumbscrew to lock dial face.
