3/4-in. socket with 1/2-inch drive

Drip pans (suitable containers)

Preformed packing (as required)

Lockwasher (8 required)

PRELIMINARY PROCEDURES:

Drain hydraulic reservoir (page 3-74)

Pump bracket cover removed (page 3-65)

REMOVAL:

NOTE

Use drip pans and rags to catch hydraulic fluid trapped in lines.

1.

Use socket and ratchet to remove four bolts (A) and lockwashers (B) from two flanges (C) and remove hose

assembly "BY" (D) from side of filter housing (E).

2.

Use socket and ratchet to remove four bolts (F) and lockwashers (G) from two flanges (H) and remove hose

assembly "BY" (D) from side of hydraulic pump (J).

3.

Remove preformed packings (K) from flanges on hose "BY" (D).
