therefore, ROLAND missile system equipment should
be loaded in manner to counterbalance variations in the
locations of centers of gravity from true center.

Shoring.
Shoring is not generally used
beneath vehicles equipped with rubber tires.
Frictional
forces between the tires and the deck are sufficient to
make it unnecessary.
However, deck surfaces should
be dry and free of grease or debris.
