CAUTION

Use of incorrect screws can cause damage to equipment.

1.

Install new gasket (7) and oil pump (4) on cylinder block (10) with two screws (8), new lock-

washers (9), screws (3), and screw-assembled washer (5). Ensure oil pump gear teeth aline with

camshaft gear teeth.

2. Tighten screws (3), and (8), and screw-assembled washer (5) 35-45 lb-ft (41-61 N-m).

3. Install front sump tube (6) on oil pan (1) and oil pump (4).

4. Connect oil pump return hose (11) to oil pump (4).

5. Connect oil pump pickup hose (2) to oil pump (4).
