EQUIPMENT CONDITION
Cylinder head removed (para. 3-18 or 3-40).
a. Removal
1. Place cylinder head (1) on workbench, exhaust manifold side down.
NOT E
When using injector sleeve extractor, ensure extractor tip is firmly
seated against bottom of injector sleeve.
2. Using injector sleeve extractor, remove injector sleeve (2) from injector sleeve bore (3). Discard
injector sleeve (2).
3. Remove O-ring (4) from injector sleeve bore (3). Discard O-ring (4).
4. Remove injector sleeve extractor from cylinder head (1).
