7. Inspect twenty-six ball bearings (17), trolley frame (8), outer race (16), and inner race (18) for pits,
chips, cracks, or scoring. Replace part(s) if pitted, chipped, cracked, or scored.
8. Inspect four thrust washers (4), axle (5), trolley frame bores (9) and (10), two thrust washers (11)
and (15), sheave (12), sleeve (14), bearing (13), bushing (19), and bearing (20) for cracks, breaks,
scoring, pits, chips, and excessive wear. Refer to table 16-3, Level Wind Parts Wear Limits, for
measurements.
Replace part(s) if damaged or worn.
