REMOVAL
WARNING
Diesel fuel is flammable. Do not perform fuel system procedures near open flame. Failure to
comply may result in injury or death to personnel.
1.
Remove fuel cap (Figure 1, Item 2), chain (Figure 1, Item 3), and strainer (Figure 1, Item 5) from fuel tank
(Figure 1, Item 6). Wrap strainer with rags.
2.
Remove four locknuts (Figure 1, Item 7), screws (Figure 1, Item 1), washers (Figure 1, Item 9), and step bracket
(Figure 1, Item 4) from carrier base (Figure 1, Item 8). Discard locknuts.
