REMOVAL
CAUTION
Clean around lubrication valve area to prevent entry of dirt. Damage to transmission may
occur if dirt or dust enters transmission.
NOTE
•
Perform Step (1) for vehicles equipped with front winch.
•
Perform Step (2) for vehicles equipped with transmission power takeoff (PTO).
•
Have container ready to catch oil.

Remove locknut (Figure 1, Item 6), screw (Figure 1, Item 5), two clamps (Figure 1, Item 3), and hoses
(Figure
1,
Items

and
4) from hanger strap (Figure 1, Item 2). Discard locknut.
