INSTALLATION

1.

Attach chain to hood and lifting device and hoist onto front crossmember (Figure 3, Item 4).

WARNING

All personnel must stand clear during lifting operations. A shifting or swinging load may cause

injury to personnel. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.

2.

Install hood (Figure 3, Item 1) and mounting plate (Figure 3, Item 8) on front crossmember (Figure 3, Item 4)

with four lockwashers (Figure 3, Item 7) and screws (Figure 3, Item 6).

3.

Secure hood (Figure 3, Item 1) to bumper bracket (Figure 3, Item 5) with hood retaining bar (Figure 3, Item 3)

(TM 9-2320-272-10).

4.

Remove lifting device and chain from hood (Figure 3, Item 1).
