Inspect frame (3) for breaks and cracks. Replace if broken or cracked.

Clean tensioner sheave pin (20) and inspect for pits, scoring, and wear. Replace if scored, pitted, or

if outside diameter is less than 0.9995 in. (25.39 mm).

Clean sheave (18) and inspect for breaks and cracks. Replace if broken or cracked.

Clean bearing (17) and inspect for cracks, chips, and broken cage. Replace if cracked, chipped,

broken, or if inner diameter exceeds 1.000 in. (25.4 mm).

Clean two thrust washers (15) and inspect for cracks, chips, and wear. Replace if cracked, chipped,

or if thickness is less than 0.0615 in. (1.56 mm).
