NOTE
Front and rear wench level wind are maintained the same way.
This procedure covers front level wind.
1.
Remove four screws (8) and lockwashers (9) from winch track (3). Discard lockwashers (9).
2.
Remove winch track (3) and level wind (4) from winch (10).
NOTE
Rectangular holes are provided for removing screws. Slide the
level wind backward and forward until screws are visible.

Remove four screws (1), lockwashers (2), and level wind (4) from winch track (3). Discard
lockwashers (2).
2.
Remove two nuts (14), drum lock latch (13), nut (12), spring (11), and poppet (7) from track (3).
3.
Remove two outer nuts (6), screws (5), and inner nuts (6) from track (3).
NOTE
Both sets of trolley wheels are removed the same.
4.
Remove grease fitting (24) from axle (16).
5.
Remove screw (23) and lockwasher (22) from axle (16). Discard lockwasher (22).
6.
Remove three washers (18), two felt washers (19), wheel (21), and thrust washer (17) from axle (16).
Discard felt washers (19).
