Apply coat of oil-soluble grease to inside of drive gear (8) and set drive gear (8) flat on workbench.

NOTE

Use oil-soluble grease to hold needle bearings in place in steps 14

and 15.

Insert first nineteen needle bearings (7) in drive gear (8).

Position spacer (6) in drive gear (8) next to first nineteen needle bearings (7) and insert second

nineteen needle bearings (5) in drive gear (8) until bottomed against spacer (6).

Using arbor press, press idler pin (9) through idler pin hole (13) from output bearing cap (4) side of

housing (11) until flush with inside wall of housing (11). Ensure idler pin slot (10) will align with

screw hole (12) when idler pin (9) is pressed through housing (11).
