CHAPTER 19
REPAIR OF CAB AND BODY
Section 1. CAB
19-1. Removal
a.
Using TM 9-2320-273-20 for instructions, perform the following tasks:

Disconnect battery cables.
Remove hood.
Remove radiator support rods.
Remove both front fenders.
Remove air cleaner inlet tube.
Drain radiator.
Remove heater.
Disconnect speedometer cable from tachograph.
Disconnect tachometer cable from tachograph.

Remove lower steering column.
NOTE
When cab is being removed indoors, ceiling
clearance may be a problem. If this problem
exists, perform steps
b, c,
and d as indicated;
otherwise, proceed to step e.
b.
Remove tailpipe and muffler (refer to TM 9-2320-273-20).
c.
Remove spare tire - M915 only (refer to TM 9-2320-273-10).
d.
On model M915 - remove the spare tire support assembly (fig. 19-1) by removing four
capscrews, four nuts, and eight washers.
