b. Removal

1.

Remove two locknuts (1), washers (2), shoulder bolts (4), and retention cables (5) from cargo door

(3). Discard locknuts (1).

2.

Remove two assembled washer screws (6), footman loop (7), and cargo door strap (8) from cargo

door (3). Discard assembled washer screws (6).

WARNING

One assistant will be required to hold the cargo door open when

either one or both gas springs are being removed or installed.

Failure to do so may result in injury to personnel or damage to

equipment.
