rotating PTO drive shaft, causing damage to equipment or serious injury or death to

personnel.

CAUTION

Engine must be at idle before engaging PTO.

Failure to comply will result in

damage to PTO and/or transmission.

Step 1.

Start engine (TM 9-2320-422-10).

Put cab PUMP PTO switch to on position (WP 0004).

Check if PUMP PTO drive shaft rotates.

.

If PTO drive shaft does not rotate, troubleshoot Water PUMP PTO Does Not

Engage When Selected (WP 0079).
