Remove rings, wristwatches, neck chains, and any other jewelry before working
around vehicle.
Jewelry can catch on equipment and cause serious injury.
Jewelry
and tools may short across electrical circuits and cause damage to equipment, or
severe burns or electrical shock to personnel.
Step 6.
Cut cab roof wire harness cab dome light butt splice connector wire 1047 (red) at
non-operating cab dome light. Check for 22 to 28 VDC between cab roof wire harness
wire 1047 (red) at non-operating cab dome light termination and a known good ground.
If 22 to 28 VDC are not present, repair wire 1047 in cab roof wire harness if
repairable (TM 9-2320-325-14&P), or replace cab roof wire harness
(WP 0282).
Step 7.
Pull battery disconnect switch to off position (WP 0007). Cut cab roof wire harness cab
dome light butt splice connector wire 2640 (black) at non-operating cab dome light.
Check for continuity across wire 2640 (black) from cab roof wire harness non-operating
cab dome light termination and a known good ground.

If there is continuity, replace cab dome light (WP 0235).

If there is no continuity, repair wire 2640 in cab roof wire harness if
repairable (TM 9-2320-325-14&P), or replace cab roof wire harness
(WP 0282).
