Put TANK TO PUMP switch (1) to OPEN position.

Indicator light (2) will illuminate.

4.

Prime water pump (WP 0016).

NOTE

•

Perform Steps (5) and (6) only if Steps (3) and (4) have been completed and pumping

operations will be delayed, and, if mission exceeds a period of 10 minutes.

Partially

opening TANK FILL & RE-CIRCULATING LINE valve control at pump operator’s panel will

recirculate water and help prevent freezing.

•

Go to Step (5) if using an operation that does not use foam.

•

Go to Step (6) if using an operation that uses foam.

5.

Push TANK FILL & RE-CIRCUALTING line valve control OPEN button (3) until green indicator light (4)

illuminates.

6.

Put PUMP COOLER switch (5) to on position.

Indicator light (6) will illuminate.

NOTE

If performing Foam System Operation, Ensure TANK FILL & RE-CIRCULATING LINE

valve control is closed and PUMP COOLER valve is in OPEN position.

7.

Perform desired discharge operation:

•

Pumping from Onboard Water Tank (WP 0019).

•

Foam System Operating Procedures (Cab and Pump Operator’s Panel) (WP 0024).

8.

Complete mission.
