Remove wheel chocks (TM 9-2320-422-10)

Step 8.

If pumping from draft (WP 0018), check if suction hose is placed so vertical height

between suction hose strainer and pump is not more than 10 ft. (3 m).

If vertical height between suction hose strainer and pump is more than 10 ft.

(3 m), reposition vehicle to reduce vertical height.

Step 9.

If pumping from hydrant or relay (WP 0020), check if intake pressure is present.

If intake pressure is not present, correct problem or notify Supervisor.

Step 10.

If problem still exists, prime pump using manual priming control cable (WP 0037).

If system primes using manual priming control cable, complete mission

per SOP and notify Supervisor.

b.

If system does not prime using manual priming control cable, notify

Supervisor.
