Step 40.

Connect two-way radio interface wire harness connectors on two-way radio and

intercom (WP 0289).Disconnect vehicle commander’s headset from passenger side

intercom jack (WP 0004).

Connect vehicle commander’s headset into driver side

intercom jack (WP 0004).

While an assistant monitors two-way radio, press headset

push-to-talk button (WP 0004).

Check if intercom keys up to transmit two-way radio.

a.

If intercom keys up two-way radio, replace intercom cables and

connectors (WP 0257).

b.

If intercom does not key up two-way radio, replace two-way

radio (WP 0276).
