Remove rings, wristwatches, neck chains, and any other jewelry before working
around vehicle.
Jewelry can catch on equipment and cause serious injury.
Jewelry
and tools may short across electrical circuits and cause damage to equipment, or
severe burns or electrical shock to personnel.
Step 41.
Disconnect intercom power wire harness connector.
With a test lead set, check for 10
to 14 VDC between intercom power wire harness connector terminals 1 and 2.
If 10 to 14 VDC are present, replace intercom (WP 0256).
Step 42.
Pull battery disconnect switch to off position (WP 0007).
Remove cab instrument panel
A (WP 0205).
Check intercom power wire harness wire connections at cab power
distribution block 12 VDC power and ground terminals.
a.
If connections are loose, tighten connections (WP 0289).
b.
If connections are not loose, repair intercom power wire harness wires
if repairable (TM 9-2320-325-14&P) or replace intercom (WP 0256).
