Remove four screws (6), preformed packing (7), and electric motor (8) from drive housing (4).

Discard

preformed packing.

Remove four screws (9), adapter (10), and preformed packing (11) from electric motor (8).

Discard preformed

packing.

NOTE

Note position of gear on shaft prior to removal to ensure proper installation.

5.

Remove setscrew (12) and gear (13) from shaft (14).

Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful

vapors, and are harmful to skin and clothing.

To avoid injury or death, keep away

from open fire and use in well-ventilated area.

If adhesive, solvent, or sealing

compound gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.

NOTE

All five electrically-operated ball valve electric motors are installed the same way.

Install gear on shaft as noted prior to removal.

Apply adhesive to threads of eight screws (3) and (6) and setscrew (12).
