NOTE

Lubricate bearings and seats before installation.

Install two bearings

(11) and seats (6) on roller (7) with eight screws (5) and two new seals (4).

WARNING

All personnel must stand clear during lifting operations. A swinging

or shifting load may cause injury to personnel.

NOTE

Assistant will help with lifting operations.

Attach lifting device and chain to roller (7).

Position roller (7) between two housings (9) on subframe (8).

Install roller (7) and recorded number of shims (10) on housings (9) with two pins (1), eight new

lockwashers (3), and screws (2).

Use dial indicator to measure end play between roller (7) and housing (9).

Install or remove shims, as needed (step 3), to provide 0.03 in. (0.76 mm) minimum end play.

Remove lifting device and chain from roller (7).
