(5) Loosen two jam nuts (8) behind ball seats (2 and 6).

(6) Remove ball seats (2 and 6) and two jam nuts (8) from

threaded rod (3).

b. Installation.

(1) Install two jam nuts (1) to bottom of threads on threaded

rod (2).

(2) Install ball seats (3 and 4) on threaded rod (2) until ball

seats contact two jam nuts (1).

(3) Tighten two jam nuts (1) against ball seats (3 and 4).

(4) Apply grease to inside of ball seat (3).

(5) Install ball seat (3) in accelerator pedal (5).

(6) Install clip ring (6) on ball seat (3).
