(8) Loosen nut (9) on throttle control cable (2).

(9) Tighten nut (10) on throttle control cable (2).

(10) Perform steps (4) through (9) until freeplay is removed

from throttle control cable (2).

d. Follow-On Maintenance.

(1) Lower cab (TM 9-2320-365-10).

(2) Install instrument panel assembly (para 7-15).

(3) Operate windshield wipers, position wipers stowed (TM

9-2320-365-10).

(4) Start engine, check accelerator for smooth operation (TM

9-2320-365-10).

(5) Check high/low HAND THROTTLE lever positions (para

4-22).

(6) Shut down engine (TM 9-2320-365-10).
