CHECK ALL FLUID LEVELS:

•

Check engine oil level (TM 9-2320-386-10). Add oil if

necessary (PMCS).

• Remove surge tank filler cap. Check coolant level

and add coolant if necessary (TM 9-2320-386-10).

• Check battery electrolyte level. Add distilled water

if necessary (TM 9-2320-386-10).

WARNING

Do not remove filler cap from surge

tank when engine is hot. Wait until

engine cools. Failure to do so may result

in injury to personnel.

CAUTION

Ensure all hydraulic power switches are

off. Damage to the vehicle could result.

CAUTION

Check oil level before starting engine.

Damage to equipment may result.

START ENGINE:

•

Start engine (TM 9-2320-386-10).

• Does engine crank and start?

NO

• Turn off master switch.

• Proceed to No Crank –

No Start, NG20.

• Does the engine crank?

NG20

NG30

• Proceed to Engine Crank –

No Start, NG30.

NOTE

Test G01, VTM Connections and Checkout, must be

performed before running any other STE/ICE-R test.
