Install bracket (25) on stack assembly (24).

4.

Install stack assembly (24) through mounting ring

(30) and thread on nipple (29) by turning clock-

wise.

5.

Aline holes in bracket (25) with holes in bonnet

and secure with four screws (31).

6.

Secure bracket (25) to stack assembly with screw

(32). new Iockwasher (26), and nut (27).

REMOVAL (M749 CONVERTO MODEL 8929)

1.

Remove eight screws (39) and Iockwashers (38)

from two clamps (40) on upper exhaust pipe (36).

Discard Iockwashers.

2.

Remove two screws (37), Iockwashers (41), nuts

(42), and clamps (40) from upper exhaust pipe

(36). Discard Iockwashers.
