Check air cleaner
restriction indicator for red
area. If red area is visible,
remove and clean engine
air cleaner filter element
(WP 0039 00). Notify
Organizational
maintenance to replace
air cleaner filter element
after six cleanings or
annually.
b.
Check engine assembly
for fuel and oil leaks.
Place suitable container under
N valve on bottom of
filter/separator. Check for fuel
seepage. No other liquid except
water should be detected at the
valve.
During movement of semitrailer,
be aware of wander or side pull.
Listen for unusual noises. These
are indications of improper rear
axle alignment.
a.
When unwinding hoses,
look for binding in front or
rear hose reel.
b.
Inspect hoses for cuts and
cracks.
Restriction
indicator has red
area visible.
Any fuel leaks or
Class lll oil leaks
are present.
Any fuel leaks are
present.
Semitrailer
wanders, has side
pull, or rear axles
make unusual
noises.
Hose reel binds or
will not unwind
