When filling tank by means of bottom loading, or self-loading, a test of the precheck system is
mandatory. If this system is not functioning, stop all operations. Determine the problem and have
it corrected by a qualified technician. Failure of automatic shutoff to function may cause
uncontrolled fuel spillage, fire, and/or explosion, resulting in serious injury or death to personnel.
