Is 8-14 VDC present at

terminal lug TL253A?

No.

Repair wire 109 (EM 0195)

or replace main electrical

harness (WP 0066 00).

1.

Set multimeter to VDC.

Yes.

Go to (Indication/Condition

5).

2.

Remove cover of junction

box (WP 0059 00).

3.

Connect positive (+) probe

of multimeter to terminal lug

TL253A.

4.

Connect negative (-) probe

of multimeter to a known

good ground.

5.

Position main light switch on

towing vehicle to STOP

LIGHT.

6.

Depress brake pedal and

note reading on multimeter.

Position main light switch to

ALL OFF.
