CONDITION/INDICATION

Can trailer main harness wire 1435 be repaired?

DECISION

Repair - Repair wire 1435 or connection (WP

0055). Go to (Step 6 - Do front side marker lights operate?) to verify

problem is solved.

No Repair - Replace trailer main harness (WP

0059). Go to (Step 6 - Do front side marker lights operate?) to verify

problem is solved.

STEP 6

Do front side marker lights operate?

1.

If removed, install lens cover and two screws (WP

0054).

2.

Ensure vehicle is returned to normal operating condition.

3.

Have assistant turn engine start switch to ON. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

4.

Have assistant turn ON lights. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

Observe front side marker lights.

6.

Have assistant turn OFF lights. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

7.

Have assistant turn engine start switch to OFF. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

CONDITION/INDICATION

Do front side marker lights operate?

DECISION

All Lights OK - Problem fixed.

Any Lights Out - Problem is not fixed. Problem may have been missed during previous steps of troubleshooting.

Repeat all previous steps of this procedure. Go to (Step 1 - Are 22 to 28 vdc measured on wire 1012B at front

side marker light?). If problem still exists after all troubleshooting tests are accomplished, contact your

Supervisor.
