1.

Have assistant turn OFF Blackout Lights selector switch. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

2.

Have assistant turn engine start switch to OFF. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

3.

Connect 24 vdc (12 terminal) cable to connector MC15.

4.

Visually check if trailer main harness wire 1680C can be repaired.

CONDITION/INDICATION

Can trailer main harness wire 1680C be repaired?

DECISION

Repair - Repair wire 1680C (WP

0055). Go to (Step 8 - Do blackout taillights operate?) to verify problem is solved.

No Repair - Replace trailer main harness (WP

0059). Go to (Step 8 - Do blackout taillights operate?) to verify problem

is solved.

STEP 8

Do blackout taillights operate?

1.

If removed, install cover on rear junction box (WP

0058).

2.

If disconnected, connect 24 vdc cable. Refer to TM 9-2330-342-10 (WP

0190).

3.

Ensure vehicle is returned to normal operating condition.

4.

Have assistant turn engine start switch to ON. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

5.

Have assistant turn ON Blackout Lights selector switch. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).

6.

Have assistant turn ON BLACKOUT MARKER switch. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP

0190).
