Support weight of winch level wind (6 )

and remove two quick release pins (7) ,

and gently lower winch level wind .

Remove two self-locking nuts (8), two fla t

washers (9), two hexagon head cap -

screws (10), and yoke level wind bracke t

(11) .

Remove four hexagon head capscrew s

(12), four Iockwashers (13), and four fla t

washers (14), and winch level wind (6) .

INSPECTION/REPAI R

1

Inspect for broken, damaged, or missing parts .

If winch level wind is broken, damaged, or missing, notify direct support maintenance .

If quick-release pins are broken, damaged, or missing, notify direct support maintenance .

4

Repair by replacement of authorized parts (TM 9-2350-238-24P-2) which do not meet in -

spection criteria .
