The vehicle hydraulic system is o f
the open center type and has
pressure only when the hydraulic
pumps are operating .

Disconnect two boom cylinder hose as -
semblies (1) from two boom contro l
cylinder assemblies (2) and boom cylinder
tube-to-hose manifold (3) .

Remove two tube nipples (4), two pre -
formed packings (5), two tube nipples (6) ,
and two preformed packings (7) .

Disconnect two boom cylinder hose as -
semblies (8 and 9) from two boom contro l
cylinder assemblies (2) .

Remove two tube elbows (10), two tub e
fitting locknuts (11), two packing retainer s
(12), and two preformed packings (13 )
from two boom control cylinder assem -
blies (2).

Disconnect boom cylinder hose assembl y
(8) from tube elbow (14). Remove tub e
fitting locknut (15) .

Remove four hexagon head capscrew s
(16), four Iockwashers (17), and two split-
flange clamp halves (18) securing manifol d
to elbow tube assembly (19) to boo m
cylinder tube-to-hose manifold (3) .

Disconnect manifold to elbow tube assem -
bly (19) from boom cylinder tube-to-hos e
manifold (3). Remove preformed packin g
(20) .

Remove two hexagon head capscrew s
(21), two hexagon plain nuts (22), tw o
Iockwashers (23), and angle bracket (24)
from boom cylinder tube-to-hos e
manifold (3) .

Remove eight hexagon head capscrew s
(25), eight Iockwashers (26), and four
split-flange clamp halves (27) securin g
two counterbalance manifold tube as -
semblies (28) to manifold assembl y
counterbalance (29) .

Disconnect two counterbalance manifol d
tube assemblies (28) and remove tw o
preformed packings (30) from manifol d
assembly counterbalance (29) .
DISASSEMBLY

of all hydraulic lines and fittings .
