Install dome light partition (1) on lens re-
tainer (2) and secure with four new lock-
washers (3) and four machine screw s
(4) .

Install receptacle connector (5) an d
preformed packing (6) and secure wit h
two machine screws (7) .

Connect electrical lead (8) to rotar y
switch (9) .

Install new nonmetallic seal (10) on bod y
(11) .

Install lamp holder (12) and lamp mount -
ing plate (13) on body (11) and secur e
with two machine screws (14) .

Install new rubber gasket (15), two fla t
washers (16), and two shoulder screw s
(17) on lamp mounting plate (13) .

Install incandescent lamp (18) in lam p
holder (12) .

Install lamp mounting plate (19) in bod y
(11) and secure with two new lockwash -
ers (20) and two machine screws (21) .

Install two new Iockwashers (22), tw o
new nonmetallic grommets (23), lam p
holder (24), and two shoulder screw s
(25) on lamp mounting plate (19) .

Install incandescent lamp (26) in lam p
holder (24) .

Connect all leads to lamp holder (24) an d
lamp holder (12) .

Install new lens rubber gasket (27), ligh t
lens (28), new white lens rubber non-
metallic seal (29), dome light white ligh t
lens (30), lens retainer retaining plat e
(31), and seven machine screws (32) i n
lens retainer (2) .

Install rotary switch (9) in lens retaine r
(2) and secure with flat washer (33) ,
new switch knob rubber gasket (34), an d
switch knob mounting nut (35) .

Install switch stop knob helical compres -
sion spring (36) and switch stop kno b
pushbutton (37) on switch stop kno b
(38) and secure with setscrew (39) .

Apply sealing compound (item 18, app x
C) to machine screw (40) .

Install switch stop knob (38) on rotar y
switch (9) and secure with ne w
Iockwasher (41) and machine scre w
(40) .

Install eight retaining clips (42) and len s
retainer (2) on body (11) and secure wit h
eight machine screws (43) .
