are the only one who can tell us what yo u
don’t like about your equipment. Let us know
why you don’t like the design. Put it on an S F
Form 368 (Product Quality Deficiency Re-
port). Mail it to us at Commander, U.S. Army
Armament, Munitions and Chemical Com -
mand, ATTN: AMSMC-QAD, Rock Island, I L
61299-6000. We will send you a reply .

CONTROL (CPC).

Corrosion Prevention and Control (CPC )
of Army materiel is a continuing concern. It is
important that any corrosion problems wit h
this item be reported so that the problem ca n
be corrected and improvements can be mad e
to prevent the problem in the future .

While corrosion is typically associate d
with rusting of metals, it can also includ e
deterioration of other materials such as rubber
and plastic. Unusual cracking, softening ,
swelling, or breaking of these materials may
be a corrosion problem .

If a corrosion problem is identified, i t
can be reported using SF Form 368, Produc t
Quality Deficiency Report. Use of key words
such as “corrosion,” “rust,” “deterioration, ”
or “cracking ” will assure that the informatio n
is identified as a CPC problem.
