Do not keep solenoid valve ener-
gized for longer than 5 minutes dur-
ing steps 8 thru 13. Failure to follow
instructions may result in hot hy-
draulic fluid,
8 Listening for actuation of one of the level
wind sensing switches, slowly rotate
level wind cable guide (7).
NOTE
As level wind sensing switch ac-
tuates, the solenoid valve should
click.
9 Secure level wind assembly. Refer to TM
9-2350-238-10.
Hydraulic system is under high
pressure. Follow hydraulic system
safety procedures to prevent injury
(TM 9-2350-238-20-2). Wipe up
spilled hydraulic fluid.
10 Turn on hydraulic system. Refer to TM
9-2350-238-10.
11 Loosen nut (8) on solenoid valve (3).
