NOTE
Mark the location of the end connectors so unit maintenance can torque them properly. Take
the vehicle to unit maintenance as soon as possible to have the end connector bolts torqued to
the proper value.
9.
Secure both end connector bolts using the socket wrench handle and extension wrench to get enough torque until you
can get it to unit maintenance to torque it properly. Mark the end connectors you have loosened and retightened so unit
maintenance can tighten to the right torque value. Fill out form DA 2404 or DA 5988-E to notify unit maintenance.
10. Adjust track tension (WP 0077 00).
