REPLACE/REPAIR ANTENNA MAST BRACKET ASSEMBLY, TAILLIGHT WIRING

HARNESS, AND ANTENNA MAST BASE ASSEMBLY (M1068 ONLY) — Continued

NOTE

If catches or strikes are damaged, do Step 10a or Step 10b.

10. Unlatch two catches (11) on antenna mast bracket (4).

a.

Remove four screws (12), lockwashers (13), and two strikes (14) from antenna mast bracket (4). Check catches

(11) for damage. Discard lockwashers.

b.

Drill out four rivets (15) securing two catches (11) to bracket (4). Remove and discard catches and rivets.

11. Remove hinged portion of antenna mast bracket (1).

a.

Remove cotter pin (2), washer (3), hinge pin (4), and the front portion of antenna mast bracket (1). Discard

cotter pin.

12. Remove four screws (5), washers (6), ground lead (8), and that portion of the antenna mast bracket (7) against the

right rear hull.
