REMOVAL

WARNING

Diesel fuel can catch fire and seriously injure or kill soldiers and damage or destroy vehicle.

Wipe up fuel spills immediately. Do not smoke near fuel or when working on the fuel system.

1.

Disconnect fuel hoses (1) and (2) from nipple (3) in bulkhead crossbeam.

2.

Remove jamnut (4) and nipple (3) from bulkhead crossbeam.

3.

Remove two tie straps (5) holding fuel hose (1) to personnel heater fuel hose (6).

Disco nnect fuel ho ses ( 1) and ( 7) fro m jam nu ts (8

)

and

(

9 ) and elbow (10) in bu lkh ead.

5.

Remove jamnut (11) and elbow (10) from bulkhead.

6.

Remove tie strap (12) from fuel supply hose (13). Discard tie strap.

7.

Remove sleeve (14) from fuel hose (7) and sleeves (15) and (16) from fuel hose (1). Discard sleeves.
