SERVICE HEATER FUEL PUMP — Continued

1.
Close heater fuel shutoff valve (see your -10).
2.
Remove three screws (1), cap (2), gasket (3), and strainer (4) from fuel pump (5). Discard gasket.
3.
Clean cap (2) and strainer (4) with cleaning compound.
4.
Check strainer (4). Replace strainer if screen is torn.
5.
Install strainer (4), new gasket (3), cap (2), and three screws (1) on fuel pump (5).
6.
Open heater fuel shutoff valve (see your -10).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Connect battery ground lead (WP 0294 00).
2.
Start heater (see your -10). Check fuel pump for leaks. Turn heater OFF.
3.
Install floor plate (WP 0436 00, WP 0438 00, or WP 0441 00).
4.
Raise and lock ramp (see your -10).
5.
Stop/shutdown engine (see your -10).
