REMOVAL

ers and damage or destroy vehicles.

Wipe up fuel spills immediately. Do not smoke near fuel or when working on the fuel system.

1.

Remove six screws (1), lockwashers (2) two clamps (7), and seven clamps (3) from nine hull weldnuts. Discard

lockwashers.

2.

Remove fuel hose (4) and elbow (5) from fuel pump (6). Disconnect elbow from hose.

3.

Remove two clamps (7), and seven clamps (3) from hose (4).

4.

Remove four screws (8), lockwashers (9) flat washers (10), and shield (11). Discard lockwashers.

5.

Remove nut (12), sleeve (13), adapter (14), and elbow (15) from heater (16).

NOTE

Do not remove spiral wrap from fuel hose if hose is being replaced.

6.

Remove hose (17) and hose (4) from two elbows (18) on filter (19). Remove and discard spiral wrap (20) from hose (4).

7.

Remove screw (21), flat washer (22), and clamp (23) from hose (17).

8.

Remove two elbows (18), screws (24), and four packings (25) from filter (19). Discard packings.
